Purpose:

The goal of this scholarship is to help rural premed students offset the initial costs of applying to medical school and help grow the RFD workforce in America.

Number of awards: 2 

Amount: $1000 each

Application opens: April 1, 2020 

Application closes: June 1, 2020

Awarded: July 1, 2020

Eligibility:

1. Be from a rural community as defined by US Census Bureau, verified by using the "Am I rural tool?"   

2. Have an active AMCAS application by the application closure date
